The John Hewitt Pub, located in the Cathedral Quarter, right in the centre of Belfast, is one of the most famous Pubs in the Country. And from 2022, it has been entrusted to us. We are really humbled, and equally excited about such an amazing opportunity; to help build on the legacy of the Hewitt as a socially minded, community based, beer centric hub in Belfast, offering world class hospitality!

The Hewitt first opened its doors in December 1999, and is owned by the Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre. John Hewitt, the late poet, socialist and Freeman of Belfast officially opened the Resource Centre on May day 1983, hence the name of the bar. It is the first Social Enterprise Bar in Belfast.

The Hewitt focuses on Live Music, support of the Arts, and really really really good beer. With 16 taps, there is something for everyone. Not only do we have incredible beer we have carefully curated wines and a spirits list championing our incredible Irish distillers.

On top of that there's ridiculously delicious food from the pioneering Frankys Lasagneria

All the Craic is had in here.
